The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R offers a range of engine options: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-liter CNG engine and a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine.

The 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers maximum power of 67PS at 5500rpm and 89Nm of peak torque at 3500rpm, paired with a choice of 5-speed MT manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission.

The 1.0-liter CNG engine is paired with a 5-speed MT manual transmission and generates 57PS of maximum power at 5300rpm and 82Nm of peak torque at 3400rpm.

The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine provides 90PS of maximum power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm is available with either a 5-speed MT manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission.
