Honda are gearing up to launch the all-new 3rd-gen Amaze sedan on December 4. The new Amaze is expected to get a thorough redesign and an extensive features list to take on the recently launched Maruti Dzire 2024. Honda are likely to offer the upcoming Amaze with the same powertrain options as the current model. So expect the 2024 Amaze to come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with the choice of a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission. The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque and in the current model, it offers a mileage of 18.60kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.30kmpl with the automatic.

2. Toyota Camry Hybrid – December 11

Toyota is all set to launch the Camry facelift in India on December 11, 2024. The latest version of the popular sedan could bring a host of updates, including a fresh design and more tech.

The 2024 Camry boasts a bold and dynamic design with a larger grille, sharper LED headlights and taillights, and stylish 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the new Camry is equally impressive, featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver's display. Other notable features include a 10-inch head-up display, advanced telematics and connected car technology, dual-zone climate control, and ventilated/heated seats with powered and memory functions.

The new Camry will be powered by the same 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with Toyota’s hybrid electric system. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) version delivers a combined output of 232PS, while the front-wheel-drive (FWD) version offers 225PS. When launched, the 2024 Camry will rival the Skoda Superb.

3. Kia Syros – December 19

Kia have teased the Syros B2-segment premium SUV multiple times in the past few weeks. Now, the carmaker is gearing up to launch the 2024 Syros on December 19. When launched, the Syros will be positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos in Kia’s SUV lineup.

The teaser videos of the Syros suggest it will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a much sought-after feature among domestic car buyers. Compared to the Sonet, the new Syros will prioritise space and comfort while offering an innovative seating layout and lounge-style interiors.

While Kia India are yet to confirm the powertrain options for the Syros, we believe it could get the same 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine as the Sonet. In the Sonet, the turbo petrol engine produces 120PS of power and 172Nm of toque while the diesel engine puts out 116PS of power and 250Nm of torque. Additionally, the new Kia Syros could also offer an all-electric powertrain at a later stage. We expect the Syros EV to launch only after the Seltos-based EV though.

4. Hyundai Creta EV – To Be Confirmed

Hyundai are gearing up to launch their first mass-market electric vehicle for the Indian market with the launch of the Creta EV in January 2025. While the official launch is still a few weeks away, we anticipate Hyundai to unveil the electric SUV or release teaser images as early as December 2024.

Based on recent spy shots, the Creta EV is expected to retain the design language of its ICE counterpart, with subtle EV-specific styling tweaks. Although Hyundai are yet to reveal details about the battery pack and electric motor, we expect the Creta EV to offer multiple battery options with a claimed range exceeding 400km.
