Mahindra Deliver 3,000 Units Of XEV 9e And BE 6 In 3 Weeks | V3Cars
Mahindra have announced a significant milestone in its electric vehicle (EV) sales, having delivered over 3,000 units of the XEV 9e and BE 6 to customers since deliveries commenced on March 20, 2025.

Mahindra To Scale Up Production To Reduce Waiting Period
Mahindra say the initial response to their all-new electric SUVs is overwhelmingly positive, with both the XEV 9e and BE 6 experiencing strong booking momentum. Notably, a majority of customers opted for the fully loaded Pack Three variant, indicating a strong appetite for the top-tier features and capabilities of these EVs. Current booking trends show a 59% preference for the XEV 9e and 41% for the BE 6.
Due to the high demand, the waiting period for the XEV 9E and BE 6 currently extends up to 6 months in select regions. Recognising this, Mahindra are actively working on scaling up production and delivery networks across the country to reduce wait times and ensure a smooth and timely ownership experience for customers.

Mahindra Introduce ‘Default’ Drive Mode In XEV 9E And BE 6
In a move aimed at making the transition to electric vehicles seamless and comfortable, especially for first-time EV buyers, Mahindra have introduced a new ‘Default’ drive mode. This specially designed mode offers a driving feel that closely mimics that of traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, providing a familiar and instantly comfortable experience for those new to the world of EVs.
Mahindra are also taking the extra step to ensure a positive ownership journey for their EV customers. Each vehicle delivery is accompanied by a carefully curated set of video guides. These informative videos walk new owners through essential best practices for EV ownership, including tips on efficient charging methods, effective driving techniques to maximise range, and comprehensive walkthroughs of the vehicles’ advanced connected technologies. This initiative aims to empower owners to fully understand and utilise the complete potential of their electric SUVs right from day one.
