Segment-wise Insights - MoM Change:

  • Top Gainers

    • The D2 segment shows the highest percentage growth, with sales increasing by 294 units (9.49%). This indicates a strong demand for higher-end or luxury vehicles, possibly driven by new model launches, improved economic conditions, or successful marketing campaigns targeting this segment.
    • The C1 segment exhibits significant growth in sales volume, increasing by 4,101 units (7.48%). This suggests that mid-range cars are becoming increasingly popular, which may be due to factors such as affordability, fuel efficiency, and the introduction of appealing new models in this category.
  • Top Losers

    • The B1 segment experienced the largest decline, with sales dropping by 5,085 units (-7.68%). This sharp decrease could indicate a shift in consumer preferences away from entry-level cars, possibly due to economic factors or competition from other segments offering better features or value.
    • The B2 segment also saw a notable decline, with a decrease of 7,211 units (-4.96%). This drop suggests challenges in the market for these vehicles, which could be attributed to increased competition, changing consumer tastes, or economic conditions affecting purchasing power.
  • Other Relevant Observations

    • The A segment experienced a decrease in sales by 1,065 units (-4.08%). This decline in the smallest car segment indicates that consumers might be looking for larger or more feature-rich vehicles, possibly influenced by lifestyle changes or increased disposable income.
    • The C2 segment saw a reduction of 1,051 units (-5.89%). This suggests potential challenges in the mid-range sedan market, where consumers might be opting for SUVs or crossovers instead.
    • The D1 segment showed a slight decline of 597 units (-1.79%), indicating a relatively stable performance compared to other segments. This could mean that while there is some decrease, the segment maintains a steady demand.
