In this December 2023 Mahindra car sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Mahindra for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Mahindra cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. December 2023 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Top Gainers (YoY):
- Scorpio N + Classic (D1 - SUV): The Scorpio-N + Classic reported a substantial Year-on-Year (YoY) increase of 62.14%, with sales rising from 7,003 units in December 2022 to 11,355 units in December 2023. This significant growth indicates strong consumer demand for this SUV model, potentially influenced by factors such as product updates, marketing strategies, or favourable market conditions.
- Thar (B2 - SUV): Thar experienced remarkable YoY growth, with sales surging by 71.7%. The numbers rose from 3,374 units in December 2022 to 5,793 units in December 2023.
- Bolero + Neo (B2 - SUV): Bolero + Neo reported a YoY increase of 9.36%, with sales climbing from 7,311 units in December 2022 to 7,995 units in December 2023.
Top Losers (YoY):
- XUV300 (B2 - SUV): XUV300 experienced a significant YoY decline of -26.8%, with sales dropping from 4,850 units in December 2022 to 3,550 units in December 2023.
- Marazzo (C2 - MPV): Marazzo reported a substantial YoY decrease of -63.74%, with sales declining from 171 units in December 2022 to 62 units in December 2023.

Top Gainers (MoM):
- Marazzo (C2 - MPV): Marazzo experienced a notable Month-on-Month (MoM) increase of 26.53%, with sales rising from 49 units in November 2023 to 62 units in December 2023. While the overall sales volume is relatively low, this positive trend indicates improved performance, suggesting potential factors such as marketing initiatives or increased demand in the MPV segment.
Top Losers (MoM):
- XUV400 (B2 - SUV): XUV400 reported the highest MoM decline among Mahindra models, with a decrease of -24.65%. Sales dropped from 710 units in November 2023 to 535 units in December 2023.
- XUV300 (B2 - SUV): XUV300 also witnessed a significant MoM decrease of -24.03%, with sales falling from 4,673 units in November 2023 to 3,550 units in December 2023.
- XUV700 (D1 - SUV): XUV700 reported a MoM decline of -18.56%, with sales decreasing from 7,221 units in November 2023 to 5,881 units in December 2023.
