Should You Buy Tata Tigor Petrol Or Tigor EV?

The high kilometre-to-breakeven cost of the Tigor EV makes it difficult for us to recommend the Tigor electric over the petrol-automatic variants of the Tigor. However, EVs have fewer moving parts than petrol cars. Hence, the EV will have a much lower cost of maintenance than the Tigor petrol-automatic.

What a lame comparison. Merely getting per km range and then finding how much the car needs to drive before breakeven. What about the service costs, parts, and rising fuel costs. The way fuel prices are going up, we might be having petrol at 105 to 110 in next one year. Also, the rance of an electric car reduces with time. And the battery will be replaced after certain kms or years. There are so many factors to be considered. This comparison is just an eyewash.
