The top XV Premium variant of the Magnite packs some first-in-segment features such as, 360-degree parking camera. It also gets some good-to-have features, such as wireless phone connectivity. Overall, the Magnite is easily one of the highly-equipped cars in the price range.

The top model of the Magnite gets the option of 2 petrol engines; a 1.0L normal petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol. The normal petrol engine gets the option of a 5-speed manual while the 1.0L turbo petrol gets the option of a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission.
The 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.75kmpl.
The 1.0L turbo-petrol engine produces 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 152Nm of torque between 2200rpm and 4400rpm. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 20kmpl for the manual transmission and 17.7kmpl for the automatic transmission.
The normal petrol engine has acceptable performance for city commutes. The turbo petrol engine, though low on power compared to the competition, has a good power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratio.

The Magnite measures 3995mm long, 1758mm wide and 1572mm tall. It is almost as long as its peers in the sub-4m segment. However, it has a fairly low roofline among its peers Its 336L boot is better than only the Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Brezza.
The Magnite has one of the highest ground clearance in its segment, falling just behind the Tata Nexon. The Magnite gets similar-sized, 16-inch alloy wheels as its rivals.
