NSRCEL & Maruti Launch 4th Incubation Program To Accelerate Mobility Startups (Press Release) | V3Cars

NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore, in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India, has launched its 4th Incubation Program for Mobility Startups. This six-month program supports early-stage startups in areas like vehicle tech, AI, clean tech, and more. Selected startups can conduct paid POCs with Maruti Suzuki and access the Japanese market. The program offers regulatory guidance, workshops, and investor connections to help startups grow into profitable businesses.

Here’s what Maruti have to say about the collaboration with NSRCEL:

NSRCEL, the startup hub at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has launched its 4th cohort of the Incubation Program for Mobility Startups. This initiative is focused on nurturing startups that are developing technology-based innovations applicable to the automobile and mobility sectors.

The six-month incubation program aims to support  early-stage startups that are in the proof-of-concept and revenue stages. By providing tailored support, the program seeks to transform these innovations into profitable businesses. At the conclusion of the program, select startups will receive incubation support from NSRCEL, along with the opportunity to conduct a paid proof of concept (POC) with Maruti Suzuki, enabling them to validate their solutions in a real-world setting. Additionally, participants will have the unique opportunity to access the Japanese market, opening doors to international partnerships and expansion among other prizes.

The primary goal of the Incubation Program for Mobility Startups is to bring innovative technologies and solutions to market that address the demands of the customer. The program will focus on innovations in areas such as  Green Manufacturing, Mobility/Mobility infrastructure, vehicle technology, Data & AI, clean tech and  Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0.

Additionally, participating startups will have exclusive access to domain experts from Maruti Suzuki, resources from IIMB, and valuable connections with investors in the mobility space.
