Volkswagen Virtus Surpasses 50,000 Unit Sales Milestone In India | V3Cars
Volkswagen India are celebrated a significant achievement with its Virtus sedan, surpassing the 50,000 units sales mark in just 28 months since its launch. This milestone solidifies the Virtus' position as the top-selling premium sedan in the Indian market.
VW Virtus Achieves New Sales Milestone
The Volkswagen Virtus has consistently sold around 60 units daily since its launch in 2022, according to Volkswagen India. This steady sales performance has boosted the company's overall domestic sales, which recently surpassed 6.5 lakh units. The Virtus and Taigun, collectively known as India 2.0 models, have contributed roughly 18.5% to domestic sales in just over 3 years.
The Virtus has continued to captivate Indian consumers with its stylish design, powerful engines, and advanced features. Its 1.0L and 1.5L turbo petrol engines offer a balance of performance and efficiency, while its spacious interior and premium features provide a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
Safety is also a priority for Volkswagen, and the Virtus comes equipped with over 40 active and passive safety features. It has earned a 5-star GNCAP rating, demonstrating its commitment to passenger safety.
