Volkswagen Golf R 333 With 333PS Revealed | V3Cars
Volkswagen have revealed the Golf R 333 limited edition for the German market. As the name suggests, the new Golf R is limited to just 333 units and offers a power output of 333PS. Read on to know more about the new Golf R 333.
Volkswagen Golf R 333 Exterior Details
On the outside the Golf R 333 limited edition offers an exclusive lime green colour option along with a black roof. Meanwhile, the exterior trim gets a gloss black treatment while the door ends get a new decal with ‘333’ branding. Furthermore, the Golf R 333 also offers black 19-inch alloy wheels that come shodded with semi-slick tyres to improve grip on track days. At the rear, it offers quad exhaust pipes along with an Akrapovic exhaust system.

Volkswagen Golf R 333 Interior And Features
On the inside, the Golf R boasts a very special badge that tells you the exact number of the particular unit out of the 333 models, making it the first Volkswagen R model to get a sequential numbered badge. Furthermore, it offers an all-black dashboard with faux carbon-fibre design inlays and yellow ambient lighting. Other features of the Golf R 333 include a centre front airbag, reverse parking camera and a 9-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system.
Volkswagen Golf R 333 Powertrain Details
The Golf R 333 is based on the Golf R Performance and packs the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine. The engine offers an increased power output of 333PS, making it the most powerful Golf ever! The engine also produces 420Nm of torque that is transmitted to all 4 wheels via a dual-clutch automatic transmission. As a result, the Golf R 333 can do 0-100kmph in 4.6 seconds and the top speed is now increased to 270kmph. The Golf R 333 also offers R-performance torque vectoring that not only splits the power between the axles but between the rear wheels as well.

Volkswagen Golf R 333 Deliveries
The Golf R 333 is exclusive to Germany and it can be ordered from June 2, 2023. The production of the limited edition hot hatchback will begin in September and customers will get their keys in October 2023. Volkswagen will also organise an exclusive event in the Autostadt for the customers of Golf R 333.
