VinFast VF6 Electric SUV Spotted – Range Revealed | V3Cars
The upcoming VinFast VF6 electric SUV was spotted undergoing tests at NATRAX (National Automotive Test Tracks) in India recently. This sighting strongly suggests that VinFast is getting ready to launch their models in the country very soon, with the VF6 Plus likely to be one of the firsts.
What We Know About The VinFast VF6 For India
The VinFast VF6 is already listed on VinFast’s official Indian website, indicating its readiness for our market. The model we spotted was the VF6 Plus, the higher of the 2 variants VinFast offers. Finished in a white exterior colour, the VF6 Plus was spotted while being charged. It featured black alloy wheels and a charging port located on the left front fender.
We even got to take a peek at its interior, which revealed key details such as its range. Equipped with a 59.6kWh battery pack and an electric motor mounted on the front axle, the higher variant of the VinFast VF6 offers a range of 381km per charge. The lower VF6 Eco variant is expected to offer a range of up to 399km.
While VinFast haven’t officially confirmed the detailed specifications for the India-spec VF6 Plus, here's what's anticipated based on its global versions:

When compared to its primary rival, the Creta EV, the Hyundai electric SUV is 102mm longer but the VinFast is 30mm wider. In terms of height, the VF6 is shorter than the Creta Electric.
VinFast VF6 Expected Launch And Price
We expect the VinFast VF6 to hit the Indian market before the festive season later this year. The VinFast VF6 is expected to be offered in 2 variants and likely to be priced competitively, with an estimated starting price of around Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom), which will help it compete with other C-segment electric SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV as well as the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.
