Here’s a list of all upcoming cars in July 2024. Our list includes the likes of the new Nissan X-Trail 2024 and the BMW 5 Series LWB.

1. Mercedes-Benz EQA – July 8

Mercedes-Benz India have confirmed they will launch the EQA electric SUV on July 8. When launched, the new EQA will become the most affordable EV from the German manufacturer in India. The all-electric version of the entry-level GLA SUV is expected to offer features such as ADAS, dual screens for infotainment and driver display, ambient lighting, and more. Mercedes-Benz India are yet to reveal the specification of the India-bound EQA. We expect the 2024 EQA to get a price tag ranging from Rs. 60 lakh - Rs. 65 lakh.

2. BMW 5 Series LWB - July 24

BMW showcased the 5 Series LWB to the media and potential customers at an event last month. Now, the German carmaker is set to launch the sedan on July 24. As the name suggests, the 5 Series LWB boasts an extended wheelbase over the standard 5 Series and will go toe to toe with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB in India. This is the first time BMW are launching the extended wheelbase version of the 5 Sereis in India.

The 2024 5 Series LWB gets a thoroughly refreshed fascia with new LED headlamps. It also gets new grilles with illumination. On the inside, the 5 Series LWB offers dual digital screens, a head-up display, 4-zone climate control, sunroof, and ADAS. BMW India are yet to reveal the powertrain specifications of the 2024 5 Series LWB. In international markets, the sedan comes with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid engine options as well as an all-electric version in the form of the i5. The new BMW 5 Series LWB is expected to cost upwards of Rs. 70.0 lakh (ex-showroom).

3. Mini Cooper S - July 24

BMW India have confirmed the launch of 2 Mini cars alongside the 5 Series LWB. The first model, the Cooper S, is expected to cost around Rs. 45.0 lakh. Now in its fourth generation, the Cooper SE gets a revised design that includes styling elements such as the new octagonal grille and round LED headlamps with circular LED DRLs. On the inside the 2024 Mini Cooper S will offer a panoramic sunroof, electrically-adjustable front seats, head-up display, and a 9.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new Cooper S is powered by the same 2.0L turbo petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT automatic as before, albeit with more power and torque.

4. Mini Countryman SE - July 24

Mini India are set to expand their EV lineup in the country with the launch of the 2024 Countryman SE. The all-electric version of the Countryman gets a similar design update as the 2024 Cooper S with new elements such as the octagonal grille, squared-off LED headlamps with LED DRLs, and new LED taillamps. On the inside, we expect the Countryman EV to offer a 9.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, and ADAS. The Countryman SE is equipped with a 66.4kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of 462km per charge. We expect BMW India to offer the Mini Countryman SE at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 58.0 lakh.

5. Nissan X-Trail - Late July

Nissan India teased the new X-Trail on their social media channels late last month. The carmaker is gearing up to expand their product portfolio with the launch of the2024 X-Trail towards the end of this month. Tata Curvv EV, Petrol And Diesel Launch Delayed

Earlier this year, we reported that Tata would launch the Curvv EV alongside its petrol and diesel counterparts in July 2024. However, we have now learned that Tata Motors are likely to launch the Curvv in September 2024. Tata Motors are yet to reveal a launch timeline for the Curvv EV and Curvv ICE. That said, we could expect the carmaker to launch the all-electric Curvv ahead of the 2024 festive season to cash in on the higher demand for new cars during that part of the year.
