Toyota Rumion Based On Maruti Ertiga Unveiled — Launch Soon | V3Cars
Toyota Kirloskar Motors have unveiled the Rumion MPV, which is a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The carmaker will open Rumion bookings and announce the prices of the family MPV soon. Read on to know what changes the Toyota Rumion offers over the Ertiga.
Toyota Rumion MPV Exterior Details
The India-spec Toyota Rumion is the same as the Rumion facelift that Toyota unveiled in South Africa recently. Up front, the Rumion comes with a large grille with a mesh design and the Toyota logo at the centre. Compared to the Ertiga, the Rumion offers a sportier design for the front bumper along with a reprofiled fog lamp housing. The lower bumper also features a chrome surround that’s not offered in the Ertiga.

Around the side, the only change in the Rumion over the Ertiga is the dual-tone design for the 15-inch alloy wheels. The alloy wheels of the Rumion offer a star-like appearance over the Ertiga’s simpler twin 5-spoke design. At the rear, the Rumion doesn’t offer any perceptible changes over the Ertiga.
Toyota Rumion MPV Interior And Features
On the inside, the only difference between the Rumion and Ertiga is the Toyota logo on the steering wheel. The Rumion features a beige colour for the dashboard and seat upholstery along with a faux wood finish on the crash pad and door trims. Like the Ertiga, it also comes with 7 seats as standard, which are accompanied by roof mounted AC vents for the middle row.
