New-Gen Tata Nexon Launch Timeline
When asked about the carmaker’s future launch plans, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata & Sons, responded, “We will launch the upgraded version of Nexon anytime soon. Then we will launch the Harrier in the later part of this year”. This statement confirms that the launch of the Nexon will take place before the launch of the Harrier facelift. Since the Harrier facelift will launch towards the end of 2023, we can expect the new Nexon to launch in August or September for booking.

Tata Motors could reveal the new-gen Nexon anytime in August and open the bookings for the B2-SUV. The launch, on the other hand, could take place sometime in September 2023. The new-gen Nexon will come with a host of cosmetic, functional and mechanical upgrades over the outgoing model. With the new updates, the Nexon is likely to hold an upper hand against the current crop of B2-segment SUVs, which include the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.
