Tata Tiago NRG Gets More Affordable | V3Cars

Tata Motors have launched the Tiago NRG XT variant at Rs. 6.42 lakh ex-showroom. The Tiago NRG XT petrol manual variant is Rs. 40,000 cheaper than the top-spec Tiago NRG petrol manual. The Tiago NRG XT launch marks the 1 year anniversary of the Tiago NRG facelift.

Tata Tiago NRG XT comes with the following set of features:

  • 14-inch styled steel wheels
  • 3.5-inch infotainment system by Harman
  • Steering-mounted controls
  • Height-adjustable driver seat
  • Front fog lights
  • Black roof
  • Roof rails
  • Side body cladding
  • Front and rear skid plates

The Tiago XT misses out on the following features over the top-spec NRG:

  • 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • 15-inch wheels
  • Auto-fold ORVMs
  • Keyless entry with push-button start/stop

The Tiago NRG comes with an increased ground clearance of 181mm over the Tiago’s 170mm ground clearance. The Tiago NRG is powered by a 1.2L normal petrol engine. It produces 86PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3300rpm. Transmission options for the Tiago NRG consist of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). However, the newly-launched Tiago NRG XT variant only comes with the option of the 5-speed manual transmission.

In addition to the Tiago NRG XT, Tata Motors have also launched the updated Tiago XT variant. The new Tiago XT gets more features than before, such as height-adjustable driver seat, rear parcel shelf and 14-inch styled steel wheels. The new Tiago XT comes with petrol manual, petrol automatic and CNG options.
