Skoda Superb Makes A Comeback – Gets Updated Engine And Features | V3Cars

Skoda India have relaunched the Superb exactly a year after it was discontinued due to tightening emission norms. The 2024 Superb is only available with a turbo petrol engine mated with an automatic transmission. Only 100 units of the 2024 Skoda Superb are available on sale. You can book the Skoda Superb via Skoda India’s website or via your local Skoda dealership.

2024 Skoda Superb Exterior Design

On the outside, the 2024 Superb is almost identical to the model that was sold in India last year. Meanwhile in European markets, the Skoda Superb has entered its next generation with a redesigned exterior and multiple powertrain options. As expected, the 2024 Superb for the Indian market is a full import and it comes in a single variant only – the top-spec Laurin & Klement (L&K).

Notable highlights of the 2024 Superb include its 18-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels, Skoda’s signature butterfly grille with a chrome surround, full LED headlamps, full LED fog lamps with cornering function, LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), and LED tail lights with dynamic turn indicators.

The 2024 Skoda Superb is available in 3 colour options:

  • Magic Black
  • Water World Green (teal blue)
  • Rosso Brunello (maroon)

While we think the new Skoda Superb is quite the looker, we are shocked by its low ground clearance. With just the driver onboard, the Superb offers a ground clearance of just 151mm, which reduces to 122mm fully laden, which is alarmingly low for Indian road conditions.

The L&K variant of the 2024 Superb offers several features but also misses out on some features Indian buyers want from a luxury car. Let’s start with what the Superb gets for 2024.
