Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition Launched With Exclusive Lava Blue Colour | V3Cars
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Slavia, Skoda introduced the Anniversary Edition of the sedan. The most unique thing about the Anniversary Edition is its exclusive Lava Blue exterior colour, which was earlier available only in the more expensive Skoda cars like the Superb and Kodiaq.
The Anniversary Edition of the Skoda Slavia has similar features to the top-spec Style variant and it’s only available with the more powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine. It offers the following notable additional features:
- Chrome accent on grille
- Neck pillows with Anniversary Edition markings
- Door sill plates with Anniversary Edition badging
- Anniversary Edition badging on the steering wheel
- Chrome garnish on the lower side of the doors
- Anniversary Edition stickering on the C pillar in chrome
- Exclusive Lava Blue (dark-ish blue exterior colour)
- Larger 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay
- Subwoofer

Compared to the regular Style 1.5L variants, the Anniversary Edition costs Rs. 28,000 more. In our opinion, this special edition of the Slavia is worth buying if you were considering buying the Slavia Style variant with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The exterior colour alone justifies most of the price difference while the additional features add to the overall value of this new special variant.

Along with the launch of the special edition, Skoda also announced that besides the BS6 Phase 2 compliance, all powertrains of the Slavia are now E20 flex fuel compatible. Thus, it now has better future-proofing for buyers, who intend to hold on to their Slavia for long-term ownership.
Currently, our petrol contains 10% ethanol (E10), which requires no changes to the engine and fueling. However, our government plans to switch to E20 in the coming years as the base fuel. E20 requires changes to the engine cylinders, fueling and plumbing. Skoda have taken care of this in Slavia.
Skoda also recently updated the prices of the Slavia. You can read more about the magnitude of changes for each variant of the Slavia at the following link:
