Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition Launched With Exclusive Exterior Colour | V3Cars
Skoda just introduced the Lava Blue Edition of the Kushaq SUV. The most notable feature about the Kushaq Lava Blue Edition is, naturally, its exterior Lava Blue colour. This shade of blue is typically available in more expensive Skoda cars like the Superb and Kodiaq.
The Lava Blue Edition of the Skoda Kushaq shares similar features with the high-end Style variant and comes exclusively with the more powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Additionally, it offers the following notable extra features:
- Chrome accent on grille
- Black neck pillows with ‘Edition’ markings
- Chrome garnish on the lower side of the doors
- Edition badging on the B pillar in chrome
- Exclusive Lava Blue (dark-ish blue exterior colour)
Here are the prices of the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition compared to the regular Style variant:

Compared to the regular Style 1.5L variants, the Lava Blue Edition costs Rs. 20,000 more. In our opinion, this special edition of the Kushaq is worth buying if you were considering buying the Kushaq Style variant with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The exterior colour alone justifies most of the price difference while the additional features add to the overall value of this new special variant.

Along with the launch of the special edition, Skoda also announced that besides the BS6 Phase 2 compliance, all powertrains of the Kushaq are also now E20 flex fuel compatible. This update makes the Kushaq more future-proof for buyers who intend to hold on to their Kushaq for long-term ownership.
Currently, our petrol is E10 (10% ethanol) and requires no changes to the engine and fueling. Our government plans to switch to 20% ethanol in the next few years as the base fuel. E20 requires changes to the engine cylinders, fueling and plumbing. Skoda have taken care of this in Kushaq.
