Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo & Onyx Get Minor Cosmetic Updates | V3Cars

Skoda has silently updated the Rapid Monte Carlo and Onyx variants with some minor cosmetic updates. Prices, however, remain unchanged as the Rapid continues to retail from Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom India).

Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo

Starting with the Rapid Monte Carlo, it gets new black alloys and black front lip and side spoilers. The Onyx variant, on the other hand, gets a glossy silver finish on the ORVMs, side moulding, rear lip spoiler, front lip spoiler and roof. Earlier, the Onyx variant used to get a black finish on the above-mentioned elements.

Under the hood, both the variants of the Rapid are powered by the same 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that makes 110PS and 175Nm paired to either a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT. While the Rapid manual has a claimed fuel economy of 18.97kmpl, the Rapid automatic does 16.24 km to a litre.
