Exclusive: MG ZS EV Gets Highest Ever Discounts In Feb 2025 (Up From Rs. 1.60 Lakh To ~Rs. 2.50 Lakh) | V3Cars

After increasing the prices of the MG ZS in January 2025 by ~Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1.20 lakh, MG have now hiked the offers by Rs. 85,000. What’s worth a special mention is that MG didn’t increase the prices of the ZS EV base model and it continues to carry an ex-showroom price of Rs. 18.98 lakh. Still, the base model now gets the highest discounts. From the earlier discounts of up to Rs. 1.60 lakh in January 2025, MG have revised the discounts on the ZS EV to Rs. 2.45 lakh.

MG’s recent decision to hike the price of the ZS EV appears to have been a rash one as within a month, they had to increase the offers by a much greater amount than the price hikes of Jan 2025. Especially on the ZS EV base model, the discounts of Rs. 2.45 lakh are the highest we have seen since the price correction in Feb 2024.

Moreover, considering that the ZS EV didn’t get a price hike in Jan 2025 suggests that even without a price revision, they are having a tough time moving the cars off the showroom floor. The launch of MG’s own Windsor, the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6 and the upcoming Maruti eVitara may be affecting the sales of the older ZS EV.
