Suzuki EVX Electric SUV Spotted On Test For First Time | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki showcased the EVX electric SUV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. While the all-electric SUV is slated to launch in 2025, testing has already begun. Read on to know more details about the upcoming Suzuki EVX.
Maruti SuzukI EVX Spotted On Test
While the test car was wrapped in camouflage, the images reveal a few key details and also give us a sneak peek into the interior of the SUV. Starting with its exterior details, the design of the EVX looks similar to other Suzuki SUVs like the Grand Vitara and Fronx. Unlike other modern EVs, the EVX gets conventional headlamps placed on the edge of the bonet rather than on the front bumpers. The headlamps are flanked by a large grille in the middle. The test car was shod with single-tone alloy wheels but the production version could offer dual-tone wheels with an aero-optimised design.

Towards the rear, the EVX could offer connected LED tail lights like in the Grand Vitara and Fronx SUVs. Overall, the EVX is likely to evolve in terms of design compared to the concept shown at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Maruti Suzuki EVX Interior Spied
The latest images also reveal a glimpse of its interior, where it features a 2-spoke steering wheel and a connected instrument binnacle. The EVX could be the first Maruti Suzuki in India to offer a connected twin-screen setup, like we have seen in Mercedes-Benz cars.
Other details on the inside include a powered driver seat with adjustable lumbar support, a rotary gear selector and an auto-dimming IRVM. The dashboard of the EVX test mule was covered in camouflage, hiding the design of the production-spec model.
