Updated Dzire Offers Better Standard Safety Features

The updated Dzire sedan from Maruti Suzuki now offers electronic stability program (ESP) as standard across all variants. Earlier, ESP was bundled with hill-hold control in the automated manual transmission (AMT) variants. It is worth mentioning that while the ESP is now standard, hill-hold control remains exclusive to the AMT variants.

Maruti Suzuki hiked the prices of the Dzire sedan by up to Rs. 20,000 in January 2023. The CNG variants of the Dzire also received a price hike of Rs. 8,750. The new Dzire 2023 prices now start from Rs. 6.44 lakh and go up to Rs. 9.31 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Maruti Suzuki will soon update this engine for upcoming BS6 phase-2 emission and road driving emission norms. Maruti Suzuki also stated that their entire range of vehicles will be ready for E20 fuel by March 2023.
