Maruti Suzuki Arena Cars Launched In New Black Edition | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) celebrated its 40th anniversary by launching a new Black Edition for all its Arena cars such as WagonR, Alto K10, Spresso, Ertiga, Brezza, Dzire, Swift and Celerio.

Maruti Suzuki Arena Black Edition

Tata’s Dark Edition is a trendsetter for all-black cars, which is evident looking at the demand for the Dark Edition of the Harrier, Nexon and Altroz. Maruti Suzuki’s move makes it clear that they do not want to lose out on potential customers not choosing Maruti Suzuki cars for the absence of a trending color.

The Black Edition introduces a new Pearl Midnight Black color for all Arena vehicles. However, Maruti Suzuki have kept the price of the new edition consistent with the standard edition. So, customers need not pay a premium to get their chosen car in the new shade. Also, for customers who wish to further customise their car, Maruti Suzuki offer optional accessory packs at a discounted price.

The accessory packs complement the new color and include several cosmetic upgrades such as claddings, garnishes, spoilers, skid plates and more. The table below lists some of the noteworthy accessories and the price list of the accessory packs for all models.

Maruti Suzuki address this new edition as a “Limited Edition”, but we believe that it is just a way to gain attention and pump up the demand. Although Maruti Suzuki have introduced the new Black Edition for the entire line-up, it is not necessary that all cars will get an equally overwhelming response. It is possible that after assessing individual demand, the carmaker might continue the black shade in only some of its cars.
