The Mahindra Thar 5 Door was caught testing again recently, revealing production-spec details like its new LED headlamps, larger alloy wheels and more. Mahindra are set to launch the Thar 5 Door in 2024 and the various spy shots throughout this year have given us glimpses of what to expect from the longer Thar SUV. Here’s what the latest images reveal.

2024 Thar 5 Door LED Headlamps Confirmed

Apart from a different front fascia, the Thar 5 Door gets LED headlamps with circular LED DRLs to stand out from the Thar 3 Door. The LED projector headlamps should offer better spread and illumination than the Thar 3 Door’s halogen units. Previous spy shots also revealed the Thar 5 Door’s LED fog lamps and LED tail lamps, both of which are not available with the smaller Thar. Thar 5 Door To Get 19-Inch Alloy Wheels?

The latest spy shots also reveal the alloy wheels of the upcoming Thar 5 Door. While the wheels are wrapped in camouflage, they feature 10 spokes like in the Scorpio-N and look like 19-inch units. Lower variants could make do with smaller 18-inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design.

Apart from these details, the latest spy shots do not reveal anything new about the Thar 5 Door. The Thar 5 Door’s interior was spied recently, revealing some of its key features. The biggest feature addition over the Thar 3 Door is a sunroof, and the dashboard of the upcoming Thar 5 Door gets a revamp too, in the form of a larger touchscreen infotainment system. While the Thar 3 Door features a 7-inch screen, the Thar 5 Door is expected to ship with a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
