Kia Carens Receives More Than 7,700 Bookings On First Day | V3Cars
Kia India have received 7,738 bookings for the Carens on the first day of bookings. Official bookings began on January 14 for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. You too can book a Carens from their official website or any Kia dealership near you. The prices of the Carens are not yet revealed. We expect the car to go on sale sometime in February or March of 2022.
Carens is a 6 - 7 seater MPV with SUV styling. It comes in 5 variants; Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. Some notable features on the higher variants of the Carens include:

- Multi-Drive modes (Sport/Eco/Normal)
- 2nd-row seat with an electric tumble function

- 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels

The Carens uses 3 engines; a 1.5L normal petrol, a 1,4L turbo petrol and a 1,5L diesel. Their specifications are:

Carens will have the upper hand on Hyundai Alcazar in terms of overall dimensions. It is longer, wider and taller than the Alcazar. Carens even has a bigger wheelbase of 2780mm, even longer than the Toyota Innova Crysta’s wheelbase.

After churning the features of each variant through our complex algorithm, we believe that the prices of the Carens could start at Rs. 11.29 lakh. The top variant’s prices could go up to Rs. 17.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The Carens will go up against Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Suzuki Nexa XL6, Mahindra Marazzo and Toyota Innova Crysta.
