Hyundai Creta EV Spied With ADAS Sensor Ahead Of Late-2024 Debut | V3Cars

The popular Hyundai Creta is expected to expand its powertrain lineup with a brand new, all-electric option. While official confirmation and detailed specifications remain under wraps, recent spy shots give us a glimpse of the Creta EV’s exterior, interior, features and safety tech. The latest Creta EV spy shots reveal the electric SUV’s ADAS sensors and 360-degree camera setup.

2025 Hyundai Creta EV ADAS Sensor Spied

Based on the latest spy shots, we can confirm the Creta EV will feature a whole host of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). We expect the upcoming Creta EV to offer the following safety features:

  • 6 airbags
  • ABS with EBD
  • 360-degree surround camera
  • 3-point seatbelt for all passengers
  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Forward Collision Avoidance (Car/Pedestrian/Cyclist)
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • High Beam Assist
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Leading Vehicle Departure Alert

We also expect the 2025 Creta EV to offer features like:

  • Electrically adjustable front seats
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Auto-dimming IRVM
  • Rear AC vents
  • Wireless charger
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

The interior of the Creta EV was spied earlier in the year, revealing a gear selector stalk with a rotary knob mounted on the steering column. This feature is borrowed from other Hyundai electric vehicles like the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. The removal of the drive selector from the centre console should help free up space for storage between the driver and front passenger.

The older spy shots also showed the Creta EV twin-screen layout borrowed from the 2024 Creta. So expect dual 10.25-inch screens to take care of infotainment and driver-related information.

2024 Hyundai Creta EV Exterior Design

Based on the latest spy shots, we can confirm the Creta EV will share the Creta 2024's quad-beam LED headlamps and connected taillamps. Unlike the Creta 2024's diamond-cut alloys, the EV gets aero-optimised wheels. The side profile remains largely untouched, but the front bumper will sport an enclosed grille for better aerodynamics and efficiency.

Hyundai Creta EV Expected Powertrain Specs

While Hyundai are yet to reveal the exact battery and electric motor specifications of the Creta EV, we expect the SUV to come packed with a 50-70kWh battery pack with a single motor setup. Since the Creta EV is derived from an ICE platform and not built on a dedicated BEV platform, the batteries are mounted under the floor of the car. Hence, expect a slight drop in ground clearance. The standard Creta petrol and diesel offer 190mm of ground clearance.

Expect the Creta EV to produce between 150PS - 200PS of power and a claimed driving range of over 400km. When launched, the Hyundai Creta EV will take on the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Tata Harrier EV and the MG ZS EV, among others. We expect the Hyundai Creta EV to roll out before the Kia EV3, while both could offer similar features and performance.
