Force Gurkha Pickup Truck Spied – Single And Double Cab Incoming? | V3Cars
Force Motors recently teased the Mahindra Thar Armada-rivalling Gurkha 5 Door ahead of its launch later this month. Meanwhile, 2 test mules of the Gurkha pickup truck were spied testing featuring a single cab and a double cab. Here’s what the latest images reveal about the upcoming Gurkha pickup.
Force Gurkha Single Cab – What Is It?
Apart from the Gurkha off-roader, Force Motors offer a large array of commercial vehicles like the Traveller and Urbania vans and Trax utility vehicles. The Force Gurkha single cab pick up truck looks like an amalgamation of the Force Trax Kargo King, a single cab utility pickup, and the Gurkha.
With just 2 seats on offer, the Gurkha single cab offers a large cargo bed at the rear. The front fascia is lifted from the Gurkha. Hence, it features a snorkel, a windshield surround grille, round LED headlamps and Mercedes G-Wagon-inspired front fender-mounted turn indicators. Unlike the Gurkha, which gets a multi-link rear suspension with coil springs, the Gurkha single-cab pickup features traditional leaf spring at the back. If the Force Gurkha single cab makes it to production, we hope Force Motors replaces the utilitarian flat loading bay for a more streamlined one like in the Force Gurkha 5 Door below.

Force Gurkha Double Cab Spied Again
The Gurkha Double Cab was first spied in May 2023. A year later, Force continue to test their niche upcoming offering. Compared to the previous test mule, the new one is covered in camouflage. It also features an external roll cage that starts just aft of the windscreen and goes above the cab before sloping down towards the rear.
The latest test mule also features a soft canopy top. The latest additions to the Gurkha pickup test mule suggest Force are preparing the Gurkha pickup for both private use as well as for the defence sector. Other higlights include a tow hook at the rear, the same 18-inch alloy wheels as the upcoming Gurkha 5 Door, and the snorkel.
When launched, we expect the Gurkha single cab and double cab pickup trucks to come with the same 2.6-litre diesel engine as the Gurkha 3 Door. Thi engine produces 92PS of power and 250Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
