Citroen C3 Turbo Bookings Stopped

The prices of the turbo petrol variants of the C3 are no longer listed on the Citroen India website. Interested buyers of the C3 can now only book the 1.2L normal petrol variants of the C3. There is no clarity as to when Citroen will reopen the bookings for the turbo petrol variants of the C3.

Our sources confirm that Citroen have stopped accepting bookings for the C3 turbo via their online and offline booking channels. The carmaker is currently prepping up to unveil its 3-row SUV — the C3 Aircross — on April 27, 2023. The upcoming C3 Aircross is likely to share its underpinnings and powertrains with the C3.

Citroen C3 Shine With New Features

Citroen India recently launched a new Shine variant for the C3 hatchback. The new Shine variant was launched only with the normal petrol engine and it sits above the Live and Feel variants.

Will The C3 Turbo Make A Comeback?

While the carmaker is yet to confirm if the C3 turbo will return, we think that the C3 turbo will go on sale again soon. That’s largely because of the growing competition from the newest offering the B2-SUV segment — the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The new Fronx goes head on with the Citroen C3 and offers the option of both normal petrol and turbo petrol engine options, with both powertrains offering the option of manual and automatic transmission options. Hence, we think that Citroen will reopen bookings for the C3 turbo soon.
