BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At Rs. 1.80 Crore | V3Cars

BMW India have launched the M5 Competition 50 Jahre M edition at Rs. 1.80 crore ex-showroom. The BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition can be booked bia BMW’s India’s website. The M5 Competition 50 Jahre M edition comes with a 4.4L twin-turbo petrol V8 engine and all-wheel-drive.

Earlier this year, BMW announced that they will launch 10 special 50 Jahre M edition models based on their M and M-Sport models. The M5 Competition 50 Jahre M edition is the latest addition to the fleet and comes to India as a direct import. It wears the special BMW logo with M colour surrounds along with an exclusive red paint. Other exterior bits include LED headlights with L-shaped LED DRLs, sporty bumpers with air ducts, LED tail lights and an M exhaust system.

Exterior elements like the kidney grille, alloy wheels, window line garnish and side mirrors are finished in gloss black. On the inside, the M5 Competition 50 Jahre M edition comes with brown leather upholstery for the dashboard and M sports seats. Furthermore, it gets M seatbelts, M steering wheel with configurable buttons, 4-zone climate control, soft door close and M5 logo illumination.

Powering the M5 Competition is a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. It produces 625PS of power and 750Nm of torque. The engine channels power to all 4 wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The M5 Competition does 0-100kmph in just 3.3 seconds and can also decouple its front axle to make it rear-wheel-drive only on demand.
