Body-Wise April 2023 Car Sales - MoM Change
- Hatchbacks were the top gainer by reporting a 8.31% decline in MoM comparison to March sales figures
- Pickups were the other gainers in the comparison with a 20.63% growth in sales over March. Although, percentage-wise, pick-ups were the top-gainers, but since they make up for a very low portion of the overall monthly sales, their percentages do not give a fair picture of the market situation when compared to others.
- Among the losers, MPVs were the top losing bodystyle with over 20% MoM decline in April, compared to March
- Sedans reported a drop of 6.76% in MoM sales comparison, whereas SUVs reported a 1.62% decline.
