Here Are 3 Simply Clever Features Of The New Skoda Kylaq | V3Cars
Skoda Auto India launched the all-new Kylaq SUV in November at an introductory starting price of Rs. 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). While Skoda are yet to release the brochure for the new Kylaq, a recent leak has revealed 3 ‘Simply Clever’ features of the SUV. Take a look at them below:
2024 Skoda Kylaq – 3 Simply Clever Features In Detail
1. Windshield Clip
One of the ‘Simply Clever’ features the new Skoda Kylaq offers is a windshield ticket holder. This feature has been a mainstay in Skoda cars since the days of the first-gen Octavia, Fabia and Superb. The transparent clip mounted on the driver’s side of the windshield is designed to hold your building society or office parking pass. One can also use it for sharing their contact number, petty cash, and toll and parking receipts. With this feature, one can quickly grab and display their parking ticket or toll pass when needed. It helps keep the dashboard and other cubby holes organised by avoiding clutter.
2. Seatback Phone Pocket
Another ‘Simply Clever’ feature in the new Kylaq is the smartphone pocket in the front seatback. The convenient location of the pocket allows passengers to reach for their phones easily. It also helps keep your devices neatly organised and prevents them from falling or getting lost. The seatback phone pocket in the Kylaq is not too deep and keeps your phone visible so you won’t forget it when exiting the car.

3. Reflective Safety Tape On All 4 Doors
All 4 doors of the Kylaq come with a reflective safety tape. The reflective tape significantly increases a car’s visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions, making it easier for other drivers to spot the car. While it would have been nice to have a red lamp on all 4 doors, reflective tape is a smart and cost-effective way to improve visibility and lower the probability of accidents at night.
Other features of the Skoda Kylaq that are worth highlighting are adjustable headrests for all rear passengers, rear armrest with cupholers, two 3kg hooks in the boot for hanging grocery bags and other knick-knacks, and a recessed storage area on the dashboard.
Skoda Auto India are yet to reveal the variant-wise prices of the Kylaq. Bookings for the SUV will open on December 2 and deliveries should commence in January. Check out the design, dimensions, powertrain specs and other details of the 2024 Skoda Kylaq by clicking the link below:
