2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio Now Safer With 6 Airbags

Earlier, the Celerio hatchback was only offered with dual front airbags as standard. Maruti Suzuki’s decision to add side and curtain airbags as standard to the Celerio is commendable. We expect the carmaker to update more affordable hatchbacks such as the Alto and S-Presso soon.

Maruti Suzuki have also updated the specifications of the 2025 Celerio brochure and here are some noteworthy changes:

  • The 2025 Celerio offers a boot space of 292 litre, which is  21 litres less than the MY2024 Celerio.
  • The latest safety update has resulted in an increase in the Celerio’s kerb weight by up to 10kg.
  • The claimed mileage of the Celerio VXI AMT has dropped from 26.68kmpl to 26kmpl, which is on par with the ZXI AMT and ZXI Plus AMT variants.
  • Maruti Suzuki have replaced the Pearl Midnight Black exterior colour option with a new Pearl Bluish Black colour option. This colour is available in all variants except the base LXI.
