The MG Hector diesel is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. This powertrain is available in the Sharp Pro and Smart Pro variants as well as the new Shine Pro and Select Pro trims.

2024 Hector Shine Pro And Select Pro Features

The Shine Pro and Select Pro variants of the 2024 Hector share features like:

• 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system
• Single pane sunroof (Shine Pro)
• Panoramic sunroof (Select Pro)
• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• LED projector headlamps
• LED connected tail lights
• 7-inch digital driver’s display

Safety features of the new Hector variants include 2 airbags, reverse parking camera, rear parking sensors, ABS and EBD, all 4 disc brakes, front and rear defogger, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system (TCS). 

The Hector Shine Pro variant gets 17-inch alloy wheels and 215/60 R17 tyres. The Select Pro variant comes with larger 18-inch alloy wheels and 215/55 R18 tyres.

The MG Hector’s new Shine Pro is available in 3 colours:

MG Hector 2024 Powertrain Specs

The 2024 MG Hector is available with 2 engine options – a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine is available with 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission, while the diesel engine is only available with a 6-speed manual.

The Hector turbo petrol produces 143PS of power and 250Nm of torque, while the Hector diesel generates 170PS of power and 350Nm of peak torque.

After showcasing the Nexon EV Dark edition at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show, Tata Motors have launched the Nexon Dark and Nexon EV Dark in India. The Tata Nexon Dark edition is priced Rs. 11.45 lakh onwards while prices for the Nexon EV Dark is priced at Rs. 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
