2023 Innova Hycross Exterior

The new Innova Hycross comes with a fresh design that takes inspiration from Toyota’s global portfolio. Compared to the Innova Crysta, the Innova Hycross gets a sharper design at the front. It also gets Toyota’s hexagonal grille with a honeycomb pattern along with reflector-based LED headlights. The front bumper gets a bow tie-shaped air dam with the same honeycomb pattern. The bumper also incorporates LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) that double as turn indicators on either side. Unlike other carmakers, Toyota have retained fog lamps and they seem to have LED illumination.

Around the side, the Innova Hycross gets a more butch design than the Innova Hycross. The flared wheel arches, soft, flowing creases and the black side body cladding give the new Innova Hycross an SUV appeal. The side profile of the new Innova Hycross makes the current Innova Crysta look flat-sided in comparison. The new Innova Hycross also features Toyota’s ‘hybrid’ badge on the front doors. At the rear, the Innova Hycross offers split LED tail lights and a flat tail gate.

2023 Innova Hycross Interior

The leaked images reveal a 2 layer dashboard with a black and brown colour scheme. The top layer of the dashboard gets a brown finish whereas the lower part of the dashboard and door cards get a black colour scheme. The centre of the dashboard gets a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and in the teaser image, it displays the Innova logo.

In terms of features, the Innova Hycross will offer features like a dual-zone climate control, electric parking brake, auto hold, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, leatherette seat upholstery, height-adjustable front seatbelts and captain chairs for the 2nd row.

2023 Innova Hycross Powertrain

In terms of powertrain, the new Innova Hycross could use a petrol-hybrid setup. We do not expect Toyota to offer the Innova Hycross with any diesel engines. While details about the hybrid powertrain of the Innova Hycross are scarce, it could use a 2.0L hybrid powertrain and offer more power and torque than the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. For cost-conscious buyers, Toyota could also offer a base petrol engine without the hybrid powertrain at a considerably lower price. The hybrid variants are likely to be offered with an e-CVT transmission while the base petrol-only variant could feature a manual transmission.

2023 Innova Hycross Launch Details

Toyota are all set to reveal the Innova Hycross in India on November 25. whereas its launch will take place in early 2023. The Toyota Innova Hycross will sit above the Innova Crysta and rival the Kia Carnival. The new Innova Hycross’ price could range from Rs. 18.99 lakh to Rs. 27.99 lakh ex-showroom.
