2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Teased With Camouflage Images Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
Mercedes-Benz are gearing up for the launch of the new GLC, which will take place in a couple of months. Ahead of its launch, Mercedes-Benz shared its teaser images sporting camouflage. Read on to know more details about the new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV.
2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Exterior Details
The new-gen GLC comes with an updated design along with larger dimensions over the outgoing model. Up front, the new GLC gets an updated chrome grille with a thick chrome surround. The bigger change is that the new all-LED headlights now merge with the grille. The GLC AMG Line, on the other hand, gets tri-star inlets with the chrome grille. The new-gen GLC also gets flush-fitting door handles whereas the AMG Line models add sportier bumpers and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Next-Gen GLC Interior And Features
On the inside, the new GLC takes design inspiration from the new S-Class. It gets a flowing centre console that also houses the 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a 12.3-inch display for the driver with multiple visual themes. Other features include powered and heated front seats, wireless charging, smartphone integration and a panoramic sunroof.
Next-Gen GLC Powertrain Details
With the new-gen model, the GLC now gets mild-hybrid support with all powertrain options. Currently, the C-Class is the only Mercedes-Benz to offer a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain. The mild-hybrid engine options come with an integrated starter generator that boosts power and torque by 23PS and 200Nm as and when needed. The plug-in-hybrid models come with a 138PS electric motor and an all-electric driving range of 100km. Mercedes-Benz are likely to reveal the powertrain details of the India-bound GLC closer to its India launch

Next-Gen GLC Rivals And Launch Details
Mercedes-Benz will launch the new GLC in India in the 3rd quarter of 2023. It will rival other premium mid-size SUVs like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
