Mahindra XUV300 Vs Hyundai Exter - Petrol Engine Spec Comparison (Expected)

The XUV300 gets a 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which makes 110PS of power and 200Nm of torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT automatic transmission. The more powerful turbo petrol engine of the XUV300 makes 130PS of power and 230Nm of torque and only get a 6-speed manual transmission option.

Meanwhile, the Exter will come with a 1.2L normal petrol engine, which is likely to make 83PS of power and 114Nm of torque. This engine will come with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. Hyundai confirmed the engine options of the Exter and a turbo petrol unit was not among the powertrains confirmed for the 2023 Exter.

Hyundai Exter Vs Kia Sonet - CNG Bi-Fuel Engine Spec Comparison (Expected)

Besides the normal petrol-manual and automatic powertrains, Hyundai also confirmed that the Exter will get the CNG bi-fuel option with a manual transmission. While the specs aren’t out yet, we expect its performance figures to align with those of the Nios CNG. So, it could make 69PS of power and 95Nm of torque while claiming to deliver mileage of around 26kmpkg when running on CNG. Meanwhile, the Sonet doesn’t get a CNG fuel option.
