The Tata Nexon offers a range of engine options: a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-liter CNG engine and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine. The 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine delivers maximum power of 120PS at 5500rpm and 170Nm of peak torque between 1750rpm and 4000rpm, paired with a choice of 6-speed MT manual transmission , 6-speed AMT automatic transmission , 5-speed MT manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The 1.2-liter CNG engine is paired with a 6-speed MT manual transmission and generates 100PS of maximum power at 5000rpm and 170Nm of peak torque between 2000rpm and 3000rpm. The 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine provides 116PS of maximum power at 3750rpm and 260Nm of peak torque between 1500rpm and 2750rpm is available with either a 6-speed MT manual transmission or a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission.
