Mercedes-Benz India have launched the 2024 EQA 250+ and 2024 EQB all-electric SUVs in India. The EQA 250 Plus is priced at Rs. 66.0 lakh, while the 2024 EQB’s prices start from Rs. 70.90 lakh.

Here’s what Mercedes-Benz had to say about the 2024 EQA and EQB SUVs after their launch in India:

India’s most desirable luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz today, introduced two attractive BEVs (Battery Electric vehicles) from its global portfolio for Indian customers. Mercedes-Benz introduced the much-awaited EQA 250+ BEV and the EQB 350 BEV with a five-seater configuration. Both these luxury BEVs will bolster Mercedes-Benz’s BEV portfolio offering customers extended range, practicality of daily usage, dynamic driving experience, an attractive Total Cost of Ownership and best Residual Value. These luxury BEVs are targeted at young individuals and active families who are early adopters of e-mobility, trendsetters and highly environment-conscious.  

With these two launches, Mercedes-Benz reiterates its ambitious EV roadmap for the Indian market, with an aim of offering a robust BEV portfolio comprising 6 world-class products this year. By end of 2024, Mercedes-Benz will have a BEV in each segment, catering to every customer’s need, starting from the EQA 250+ up to the luxurious EQS Maybach SUV. Mercedes-Benz India has been steadily building a robust charging infrastructure across its Franchise Partner network, comprising DC Fast and Ultra-Fast Chargers (60 kW and 180 kW), in addition to offering complimentary AC wall box chargers to its customers with every BEV.       

EQA 250+: The EQA embodies "Progressive Design" and "Intuitive Technology," offering new-age customers the iconic Mercedes-Benz experience in an all-electric package. With its dynamic SUV body, the EQA exudes style and promises thrilling fun of driving at the same time, practicality of everyday use. The EQA 250+ is equipped with a standard ‘Electric Art’ package enhancing the vehicle’s progressive design and elegant looks. The EQA is adorned with a star-pattern grill along with a central star and stylish 19-inch light-alloy wheels. A continuous light strip reinforces the car's identity as part of the Mercedes-Benz EV family. The Electric Art package also includes rosé gold highlights on the upholstery and air vents, complemented by a backlit trim which set the tone for a futuristic and luxurious ambience.

EQB 350 4MATIC: The New EQB 350 4MATIC is introduced with a five-seater configuration for the first time in India, featuring premium upgrades in terms of an attractive AMG Line exterior and luxurious interior. With MBUX Gen 2 featuring improved voice control, augmented reality navigation and host of driving assistance systems like Distronic Active Distance Assist and Active Lane Keep Assist, the EQB 350 4M sets a new benchmark in the luxury BEV segment. The EQB 350 4M offers performance, versatility with five-seater configuration, catering to the diverse needs of young active families. The significant updates and new features enhance the EQB's proposition, making it a compelling product for early adopters to luxury electric vehicles.

Updated Exterior and Interior Design: The EQB receives updated exterior and interior designs. Its newly designed black panel surface with a star pattern at the front aligns with its larger model siblings, while a redesigned bumper enhances the vehicle's visual appeal. Inside, the EQB features a range of trim options including brown lime open-pore wood and backlit Mercedes-Benz patterns.

Extended Range through Technical Optimization: The EQB benefits from technical optimizations that result in an extended range, reaching up to 447 kilometers according to WLTP standards. These optimizations include aerodynamic enhancements and rolling-resistance-optimized tires.

Sound Experiences and MBUX generation2: The EQB offers Burmester® Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos having 12 speakers and 710-watt power output, providing an immersive auditory experience. Additionally, it features an updated generation of MBUX generation 2, offering enhanced customization options for the central display and improved charging feature presentations.
