Volkswagen Passenger Cars India today launched the new “My Volkswagen” app, a one-stop solution that offers a seamless, convenient and immersive digital experience for prospective and existing customers. The mobile application offers a 360 experience with holistic offerings for the customer. Right from exploring the Volkswagen product portfolio, to scheduling test drives, 360 car visualizer, online booking to completing the customer journey by organizing service schedules, vehicle health reports, online purchase of loyalty products, all can be done at your fingertips.

Ensuring enhanced customer convenience and connectivity, the “My Volkswagen” app enables users to monitor their fuel usage and expenses, calculate service costs , conduct an evaluation for their pre-owned car, calculate the EMIs that provides them an indicative financial transparency and planning.

The mobile application keeps the customer safe along every drive with features like location tracking, geo-fencing, time-fencing and monitoring the vehicle health & statistics. It also enables the users to locate the nearest dealership, service workshop and get road-side assistance basis their need.

Enabling customers to get more with every drive, they can assess their driving behavior and performance in real-time on the “My Volkswagen” app. However, the customer would need to connect to the Volkswagen telematics solution (dongle) to avail this facility.

The “My Volkswagen” app also offers an innovative ‘Digital Owner’s Manual’ that provides information on the signs, symbols and warnings that could potentially appear on the analogue or digital display screen and/or infotainment of the vehicle. Keeping pace with evolving technologies, the feature can be explored by either ‘type-search’, ‘voice command’, and even ‘scan the image’.

Prospective and new customers who have recently entered the Volkswagen family can download the mobile application on either Google Play StoreTM for Android users or the Apple StoreTM for iOS users. For existing customers, an auto update will be provided.
