New-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC

Mercedes-Benz India will launch the new-gen GLC on August 9, 2023. The bookings for the new GLC are already open and it comes with 2 engine options. The updated model comes with an all-new design along with a range of new features. Both the petrol and diesel engine options of the new GLC also gain mild-hybrid as standard with torque assist as well. The new GLC will continue to rival other luxury family SUVs like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Jaguar F-Pace.

Tata Punch CNG

Tata Motors are all set to extend their market share in the CNG segment with the upcoming Punch CNG. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Punch CNG boasts Tata’s twin CNG-cylinder technology, which results in a larger boot space than rivals. The Punch CNG will rival other CNG powered SUVs like the Hyundai Exter CNG and Baleno CNG. It will share its 1.2L petrol-CNG engine with the Altroz CNG and offer 73.5PS of power and 103Nm of torque. Tata Motors could launch the Punch CNG in the first half of August 2023. 

Audi Q8 E-Tron

The updated Audi Q8 E-Tron recently made its debut in India, which include both SUV and Coupe aka Sportback body styles. Audi India will announce the prices of the Q8 E-Tron on August 18, 2023 and the updated models will replace the existing E-Tron duo. The new Q8 E-Tron offers a redesigned front fascia and a larger 114kWh battery pack, resulting in an increased range. The new Q8 E-Tron will continue to rival other electric SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz EQC, BMW iX, Jaguar I-Pace and the upcoming Volvo C40 Recharge.

Volvo C40 Recharge

After tasting success with the XC40 Recharge, Volvo Cars India are set to launch the C40 Recharge in August 2023. Bookings and test drives of the all-electric coupe SUV will start in August while its deliveries will commence in September. The India-spec C40 Recharge comes with a twin motor setup offering a combined power of 408PS and torque of 660Nm. At launch, the Volvo C40 Recharge will rival other electric SUVs like the Audi Q8 E-Tron Sportback and Jaguar I-Pace.
