Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG Prices Likely To Start From 13.23 Lakh | V3Cars

Toyota India have opened bookings for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG ahead of its launch. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will come in S and G variants and Toyota will announce the prices soon. Here are our expected prices for the first CNG-powered SUV in India.

Considering Maruti Suzuki and Toyota charge a premium of Rs. 95,000 for the Baleno CNG and Glanza CNG over their corresponding petrol variants, we can expect Toyota to charge the same premium for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG. Then there’s the Maruti Nexa XL6 CNG to consider. Maruti charge a premium of Rs. 95,000 for the XL6 CNG over the XL6 Petrol variants. Since the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will share its CNG powertrain with the XL6, our prediction of a Rs. 95,000 premium is reasonable.

At Rs. 13.23 lakh ex-showroom, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will become the most-expensive CNG offering in the market. As the launch of the Brezza CNG is still some time away, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will become the first SUV in India to offer a factory-fitted CNG option.

With the G variant, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder offers features like LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera, ambient lighting, Arkamys sound system, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. We can expect the same set of features to make their way into the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG G variant as well.

After the launch of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG, Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce the CNG variants of the Grand Vitara. The CNG variants of both SUVs will take on diesel variants of rival SUVs, such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG and Grand Vitara CNG will be an ideal choice for those looking for low-running costs and high fuel efficiency from their SUVs.
