2023 Toyota Innova Hycross Spied Again — Debut Likely In November | V3Cars

The Toyota Innova Hycross was recently spied on test yet again, revealing the front design and a sneak peek of its interior. Toyota are likely to reveal the Innova Hycross in November whereas its market launch could take place in January 2023.

The new video captured a Innova Hycross camouflaged test car. While it doesn’t reveal the design of the upcoming family mover, we can take some key points from it. Firstly, the torsion beam suspension at the rear along with the absence of a differential confirm that the Innova Hycross will feature a front-wheel-drive powertrain. Secondly, the Innova Hycross will get a large chrome front grille with conventional LED headlights. We can also see the LED DRLs positioned lower on the bumper in the video.

While the video doesn’t reveal much about the interiors, we can see a floating touchscreen infotainment system that could be more than 9.0-inch in size. With the new Innova Hycross, we can expect the family mover to offer rich use of soft touch materials on the dashboard as well. Furthermore, the Innova Hycross will also get rear disc brakes.

In terms of powertrain, the new Innova Hycross could use a petrol-hybrid powertrain. We do not expect the Innova Hycross to be offered with any diesel engines. While details about the hybrid powertrain of the Innova Hycross are scarce, it may offer more power and torque than the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and use a 2.0L hybrid powertrain.

It is worth noting that Toyota have stopped accepting orders for the Innova Crysta diesel owing to high demand. It will be interesting to see if Toyota are successful in shifting potential buyers of the Innova Crysta diesel to the advanced hybrid powertrain of the new Innova Hycross. A few rumours also suggest that Toyota will offer the Innova Hycross alongside the current Innova Crysta.
