Tata Punch CNG Unofficial Bookings Open | V3Cars
Earlier this year, Tata Motors showcased the Punch CNG at the 2023 Auto Expo. While Tata Motors are gearing up to launch the Tata Punch CNG soon, select dealerships are now accepting unofficial bookings for the small SUV.
Tata Punch CNG To Get Extra Features Over Petrol Variants
According to our sources, the Tata Punch CNG is likely to offer a few additional features over the current petrol variants of the small SUV. The Punch is expected to offer 6 airbags, projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, auto AC, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an electric sunroof. Features like the 6 airbags and the electric sunroof are currently not available with the Punch petrol. However, Tata are likely to update the Punch petrol soon, just as they did with the Altroz recently.

Tata Punch CNG Powertrain Details
The Tata Punch CNG will get a 1.2L 3-cylinder CNG-petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Punch CNG will likely offer 76PS of power and 97Nm of torque. Just like the Tata Altroz CNG, the Punch CNG will also get the Tata Motor’s twin-cylinder setup, which should free up more boot space than having a large, single-cylinder setup. The twin cylinders of 30L each placed under the boot floor should help the Tata Punch CNG offer a larger boot space than its arch-rival, the Hyundai Exter CNG.
Take a look at the expected engine specifications of the Punch CNG against its rivals:
