Tata Harrier EV Spotted Testing – Likely To Offer Over 400km Range | V3Cars
The upcoming Tata Harrier EV was spotted testing recently. Although the Harrier EV test mule was covered in camouflage, it gives us a clue of what the production-spec Harrier.ev could look like.
Tata Harrier EV To Retain Concept Design
While the Harrier.ev spied testing was wrapped in camouflage, it seems to feature the same slim LED DRLs connected by a light bar as the ICE-powered Harrier facelift was teased recently. The test mule also features the reprofiled headlamp cluster from the Harrier facelift. We expect the production-spec Harrier.ev to feature a close off front grille as well as aero wheel covers to aid aerodynamics and enhance driving range.
On the inside, the major new additions, such as the larger infotainment system and new steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, were covered with a cloth. But expect a similar interior as the Harrier facelift along with a few EV-specific touches. As far as features are concerned, we expect the Harrier.ev to offer a panoramic sunroof, touch-sensitive AC controls, 360-degree parking camera as well as several advanced driver assistance (ADAS) features.

2023 Tata Harrier EV Powertrain Specs
Tata Motors are yet to reveal the powertrain specifications of the Harrier.ev. However, report suggest that the Harrier.ev could offer all-wheel-drive capabilities with a dual electric motor setup. The Harrier.ev is expected to feature a 50 - 60kWh battery pack and offer a range of over 400km.
Tata Harrier EV Launch And Rivals
The Tata Harrier.ev is expected to go on sale in early 2024. As far as rivals are concerned, it will take on the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8, which is the electrified version of the XUV700, as well as the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV that is currently undergoing tests.
