Exclusive: 2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Spied; Gets New LED Headlamps & Fog Lamps | V3Cars
Tata Motors are gearing up to launch the refreshed Altroz hatchback in May 2025. We recently spied the 2025 Altroz facelift undergoing testing. Although the test mule was covered in camouflage, we were able to make out a few of the changes Tata have made to their B2-segment hatchback. Take a look.

2025 Tata Altroz To Get All-New LED Headlamps And Fog Lamps
As part of the update, the 2025 Altroz gets subtle design changes to help it maintain a family resemblance with the rest of Tata’s lineup, such as the Curvv and Nexon. At the front, the changes include an updated grille and new headlamps. The headlamps now feature LED illumination, with 4 projector cubes for the low beam and 4 reflector cubes for the high beam. The turn indicators continue to remain at either side of the grille. Although not visible in the images, we expect the outer edges of the headlamps to feature LED DRLs.
Apart from the LED headlamps, the 2025 Altroz facelift also gets new fog lamp housings similar to the ones seen in the Punch and other Tata SUVs. The fog lamp housing features 2 LED projector cubes on either side.

Other changes on the 2025 Altroz facelift include the addition of flush-fitting door handles for the front doors to give the hatchback a premium touch. The rear door handles are still mounted on the C-pillars. We also expect Tata to equip the updated Altroz with new 16-inch alloy wheel designs, including diamond-cut wheels for the higher variants.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Interior And Features
While there are no spy shots of the interior of the Altroz facelift, we expect it to get a few updates such as an all-new digital driver’s display to replace the current 4-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. Tata could also ditch the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the larger 10.24-inch unit from the Nexon and other Tata models. Expect it to offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a wireless charging pad.
In terms of safety, Tata could offer the Altroz facelift with 6 airbags as standard as its chief rival, the Hyundai i20 already offers this upgraded safety feature. Apart from additional airbags, the Altroz facelift will continue to offer ISOFIX chile seat anchorages, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper with washer, rear parking sensors and rear parking camera, and a lot more.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Powertrain Options
Tata are yet to confirm the engine and transmission options for the upcoming Altroz 2025 facelift. However, we expect the Altroz to continue offering the same powertrain options as the current model, including the 1.2L normal petrol, 1.2L CNG and 1.5L diesel engine options.

Although the fate of the Tata Altroz Racer is not known at the moment, we expect Tata to offer its 1.2L turbo petrol engine in some form of the Altroz facelift. It’s worth noting that the Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in its segment that offers a diesel engine option. When launched, the Altroz facelift will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza hatchbacks.
