Stellantis Group’s Plans For 2030 | V3Cars

Stellantis Group recently unveiled their plans. These are the same people who were earlier known as Fiat Chrysler and they own some popular and iconic brands like Jeep, Citroen, Fiat, Abarth, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Dodge, DS, Peugeot and a few others. Let’s take a look at what Stellantis Group are planning to do in this decade under their ‘Dare Forward 2030’ campaign.

Here are some of the highlights of this plan before we discuss them in detail:

  • 5 million EV sales by 2030
  • 100% sales in Europe and 50% sales in the US of EVs by 2030.
  • 75 new EVs by 2030 (25 in US alone), with Jeep’s all-electric EV in 2023
  • 26 commercial EVs
  • 50% reduced carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon net-zero by 2038
  • 35% involvement of women in leadership roles
  • Double the net revenue to €300 billion.

Sales

Stellantis aim to sell 5 million EVs around the world by the end of this decade, that is, 2030. They want to sell 100% electric vehicles in Europe by 2030. The US sales of the Stellantis Group could comprise 50% EVs. The auto group also aims to increase revenue from the premium and luxury segments.

EVs

Stellantis Group are looking forward to introducing 75 new battery electric vehicles in the market. The auto group will make 25 of them specifically for the US market. The commercial vehicle segment will also have 26 EVs from the Stellantis group, including the new Ram 1500 BEV.

The group will launch the all-electric Jeep SUV in 2023 and the Ram ProMaster later that year.

Environmental Goals

For the environmental cause, the auto group aims to reach carbon net emissions zero by 2038. They want to get to the 50%-mark by 2030 itself.

Finance

The Stellantis Group are looking forward to doubling their revenue to EUR 300 billion by 2030. They will also have a breakeven point of less than 50% of shipments.

Citroen, Jeep and Maserati are presently selling their cars in India. Abarth, Fiat and Opel used to sell their cars before shutting their operations in India. We have also seen some Peugeot and DS vehicles testing on Indian roads, hinting at their plans to enter the Indian car market.
