Skoda India have silently discontinued the Kushaq C-segment SUV’s Lava Blue colour option. After this move, the 2023 Skoda Kushaq is now only available in 5 colours.

Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Colour Discontinued

Skoda India launched the Kushaq Lava Blue edition in April, 2023. Skoda have now stopped accepting bookings for the limited edition variant of the Kushaq. Apart from the limited edition variants of the Kushaq and Slavia, the Lava Blue colour option was only available in flagship models like the Kodiaq SUV and Superb sedan. The same colour was also offered on the Slavia with its anniversary edition variant, but that too is no longer on sale.

Along with the exclusive colour, the Kushaq Lava Blue also offered the following changes over the Kushaq Style variant:

  • Chrome accent on grille
  • Black neck pillows with ‘Edition’ lettering
  • Chrome garnish on the lower side of the doors
  • ‘Edition’ chrome badges on the B pillar
  • Exclusive Lava Blue paint (dark-ish blue exterior colour)

Unlike the regular variants of the Kushaq that are available with 2 engine options, the Lava Blue edition was only available with the more powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 150PS of power at 6000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1600rpm and 2500rpm. This engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
