Skoda Launch Active Peace And Ambition Classic Variants | V3Cars
Skoda have introduced 2 new variants in the Kushaq lineup – Active Peace and Ambition Classic. These variants miss out on certain features from the Active and Ambition variants respectively. Let us look at the feature list of both variants.
The Active Peace variant is the new base variant in the Kushaq lineup. Including this variant, the Kushaq’s prices now start from just under Rs. 10 lakh. The Active Peace variant loses out on goodies such as a music system, speakers and USB ports. All these losses come at a concession of Rs. 1 lakh below the Active variant. However, the production of this variant was limited to 600 units, all of which are now sold out.

The Ambition Classic is based on the mid-spec Ambition variant. However, it costs Rs. 12.69 lakh, making it Rs. 30,000 more affordable than the Ambition variant. When compared to the Ambition variant, it loses features like Auto AC, connected car technology, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Skoda took this step to circumvent the shortage of semiconductors and reduce the waiting period of the Kushaq. Buyers who are eager to get their new vehicle and are not interested in the said features can opt for these variants. This step will certainly help Skoda deliver more cars amid the semiconductor crisis.
Buyers who want these variants will not have to be devoid of these features forever. Skoda have said that they will retrofit certain features after the chip shortage gets under control. Hence, buyers will be able to get these features fitted from the dealership at a later date.

Buyers of the Kushaq Active Peace variant will get the option of installing an audio system at a cost of Rs. 30,000. Customers will also get the option of installing electrically foldable ORVMs in Active Peace and Active variants for Rs. 25,000, albeit only after the crisis ends.
Recently, Volkswagen made features such as TPMS and auto start/stop system standard in the Taigun range. We can expect Skoda to implement it in the Kushaq lineup soon. Skoda have also launched the Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition at Rs. 16 lakh. You can know more about this special edition variant by clicking the link below.
