Skoda’s Anytime Warranty Package Launched | V3Cars
Skoda Auto India have commenced their new year by announcing a new initiative called the Anytime Warranty for their customers. As part of the carmaker’s new Anytime Warranty package, a Skoda car owner can purchase additional warranty coverage of 1 year/20,000km (whichever is earlier) to extend their existing 4 year/1,00,000km warranty coverage.
This initiative is in addition to Skoda’s Peace of Mind scheme, which the carmaker launched a while ago, enabling customers to extend the standard warranty to up to 6 years/1,50,000km. The Anytime Warranty scheme goes beyond giving an option to extend warranty for up to 8 years/1,50,000km.

Skoda allow their customers to avail this benefit even if the standard warranty on their car has expired. However, it is important to note that this scheme is exclusively for Skoda cars that are below 7 years of age and/or have covered less than 1,30,000km. As per Skoda, any extended warranties (Peace of Mind or Anytime Warranty) will be issued post successful vehicle inspection and are transferable to the next owner of the car.
Skoda claim that their goal is to not just launch newer cars, but improve the ownership experience for their customers as well. This aligns with the company’s brand director Petr Solc’s statement: “We began 2023 by telling you the way forward for ŠKODA AUTO India is not going to be just about newer cars, but several innovations that provide an unparalleled ownership and maintenance experience for our customers. Anytime Warranty is one such offering, that delivers on our promise of customer satisfaction and hassle-free ownership experience, in our path towards Accelerating Growth.”
Skoda aim to be a more customer-focussed car company, which is evident from the following accomplishments:
- Compared to the industry standard 3 years, Skoda cars come with a 4 year standard warranty.
- Skoda have reduced maintenance costs by up to 21% by manufacturing and sourcing parts locally.
- Skoda have also introduced extended warranty schemes such as ‘Peace of Mind’ and ‘Anytime Warranty’.
In a nutshell, in addition to taking care of manufacturing anomalies this extended warranty initiative ensures that customers trust their vehicle engineering and maintenance services.
