Renault India Donate Kwid, Triber & Kiger To Indian Army’s 14 Corps, Northern Command | V3Cars

Renault India have donated a few units of the Kwid, Triber and Kiger to the 14 Corps, Northern Command of the Indian Army to support their mobility and transportation needs. This initiative aligns with Renault's commitment to community service and supporting the nation's defence forces.

The 14 Corps, also known as the Fire and Fury Corps, are based in Udhampur. Part of the Northern Command of the Indian Army, the 14 Corps defend the Kargil-Leh region and the Siachen Glacier.

The donated vehicles include the Renault Kwid, Kiger, and Triber, known for their quality, safety, and “Make in India” spirit. These vehicles will enhance the efficiency and mobility of the Northern Command. This contribution reflects Renault's dedication to supporting the Indian Army and its ongoing efforts to innovate and bring value-driven vehicles to the market.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudhir Malhotra, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Renault India said:

Speaking of the donated models, the Kwid is an B1-segment hatchback that is currently priced from Rs. 4.70 lakh to Rs. 6.17 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and rear seatbelt reminder along with 14 other standard safety features. The Kwid is powered by a 1.0L normal petrol engine and comes with the option of a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. 

The Triber, which is priced from Rs. 6.0 lakh to Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom), is a B2-segment MPV that offers features like a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charger, driver seat armrest and power-fold ORVMs. It is powered by a 1.0L normal petrol engine and comes with the option of a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.    

The Kiger is Renault B2-segment SUV, which is priced from Rs. 6.0 lakh to Rs. 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Top features of the Kiger include semi-leatherette seats, leatherette steering wheel, power folding ORVMs, and a bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM. The Kiger SUV gets 2 engine option – a 1.0L normal petrol and a 1.0L turbo petrol. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT (normal petrol) and a CVT (turbo petrol) automatic transmission.
